Antonio Martinez Carrasco
He is a graduate in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid, having obtained an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa and a Diploma in Technological Management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
He has over 18 years of experience in the development of high technology projects having worked mainly in companies of the public sector. He has participated in and managed projects within the fields of avionics, space and environment. He is an expert in solid-state lasers and electro optics sensors having published and given numerous articles and conferences on lasers and electro-optics in general and has been the Chairman of the Association of Laser Manufacturers ANFAL.
In SOCINTEC, as Manager Consultant, he has worked mainly in the assessment and valorisation of R&D programmes and projects, the evaluation of R&D programmes and innovation projects, elaboration of market studies and design of R&D results exploitation plans. Included among the projects he has managed and participated in are: RITTS of the regions of Valencia and Murcia, FIT project on financing innovation for the DG Enterprise, evaluation and impact assessment of BRITE programme for the DG XII, evaluation of R&D National Plan for the Spanish Administration, design of the Assessment Methodology of the impact of the FEDER Funds dedicated to R&D for the CICYT and assessment of technological developments and services for the European Union’s Joint Research Centre.
